Hi, I’m Jill!
I live and work in the Portland metro area in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. From simple paint consultations and decorating projects to full scale remodels, I love creating comfortable, functional, and timeless spaces for my wonderful clients.
My journey to a career in interior design was anything but conventional. In 2009, I adopted a new hobby when I hit “publish” on my first blog post. This blog focused on my love for design, vintage collecting and the charming Minnesota cottage and neighborhood where we lived at the time. That leap led to all sorts of fun design opportunities: styling, blogging and publishing. As a design enthusiast, I had to pinch myself when I was able to learn from true industry professionals and was included in so many fun creative opportunities. Our family relocated back to the Pacific Northwest in 2011 and I began to prepare for another leap: creating a design business that felt right for me and that I knew was needed. I would lead with a spirit of collaboration, kindness, grace with a goal to have FUN in the process.
While my design work keeps me on the run, I am most content at home in my own 1947 cottage, cooking, entertaining and gardening. I am a true homemaker. I’m a wife and a mom to two college-aged daughters who I believe represent my best creative work, and our family wouldn’t be complete without our mellow goldendoodle and feisty labradoodle.
